Alert Level 4

This means our libraries are closed as are all other Council facilities.

Once your local library reopens, you will be required to scan or sign in.

Places, where it will be mandatory to ensure records are kept, will include cafes, restaurants, bars, casinos and concerts, aged care, healthcare facilities (excluding patients), barbers, exercise facilities, nightclubs, libraries, courts, local and central government agencies, and social services providers with customer service counters.

We understand that if your library is a shared service centre you may become increasingly agitated or see other members of the public express frustration or anger. Please stay calm and allow the library staff to manage the situation.

Remember: eResources and databases are available 24/7 and eBooks are free to borrow at most public libraries. Other libraries offer virtual programming and online activities.

Why not check out what is on offer by visiting our Find a Library Page.
